Coral is one of those exceptional golden retrievers that embodies all that we love in this wonderful breed.  This special, incredible dog is only 8 years old, but had already been through five homes (through no fault of her own) when she was brought to B.A.R.C.

Her last owner had not had her for long, and wanted to find a new home for this sweetheart, who also has oral cancer.  We took her in as a foster, but have decided that she will be a permanent resident of Golden Acres for the remainder of her days.  Her Christmas present is a forever home with us where she'll be loved.

Coral loves this little doggy bed, and chooses it over the comfy ones that are more her size!  Here she sits drying off after a quick bath.

I'm a Christmas doggy!  Willing to do anything you ask, Coral sat and humiliated herself for this photo, despite her better judgment!

As you probably already noticed, Coral is never far from her tennis balls!  This is her two-ball trick!

We're thrilled Coral enjoys lying on the hoomin couch too.  In her last home she was kept outside and banished to the cold garage at night where she slept on a hard, cement floor.  While Coral's cancer may minimize her time here with us, we will make sure that for whatever time she has left she knows she is loved, cherished, and pampered (and spoiled with an ample supply of tennis balls!).
