When Coral Annie came to Golden Acres in December of 2000,
we thought her time with us was going to be very short.
We are very pleased to find out how wrong we were!
Her diagnosis of cancer was incorrect.  However, she was severely hypo-
thyroid, anemic, and had pancreatitis.
She was also very obese and in need of weight loss, and had
frequent hot spots and weepy, swollen eyes due to allergies.

Coral at Ocean Beach, May, 2001.

Not only is she still with us, but she is thriving and healthy,
taking her Soloxine twice a day and a very low dose of
Prednisone every other day during allergy season.
Coral has lost almost 30 pounds over the last year.

Coral goes swimming last summer (August, 2001) at Auntie Liz's house.

Coral's famous dive.  She will NOT stop retrieving her frisbee until
it's time to go home (or the gate to the pool is closed!)

Coral loves to carry her two balls around with her.

"Okay, I'll do a one-ball pose too!"

Coral likes to "help" around the house.  Here she
tries to supervise dad doing his sit-ups.

Coral loves to snuggle
(December, 2001)

And she really loves her mommy.
