Our first foster golden
1989 (?) - April 30, 2003
Fetch, (AKA Fetchy,
Fetchy-Poo) - July 11, 1998. This photo was taken
of him for the BARC web page, listing him as available for adoption
He went home with me that day, and was never to return - he was meant to
be mine! As you can see in this photo, his fur had been completely
clipped by his former family, who cared for him after finding him
wandering around the desert in Palm Springs, CA, during the hot summer
months.
A few
months after joining our family, his fur had grown out quite a bit.
Fetch loves balls - squeaky balls were his
favorite. (Watch a video clip of
Fetch rolling his squeaky ball on his back.) Above he has his glow
ball - hard balls were also great fun for him!

May 6, 2000. This time it's a softball he had been carrying around!

He was quite the comical boy, and as this picture shows,
always had a "weight-problem". Once he shredded the seat
of our Explorer trying to get to a peach!

Yes, he loved, loved his balls. He also shredded the couch once trying
to retrieve a ball that had fallen between the cushions.
