Our Bridge Babies
Zion: 1984 - 1998
Miriam: 1982 - 1998
Zion, top, joined our family in
1984 as a sweet little 8 week old puppy. We didn't know he had parvo when we found
him, but he managed to pull through and live a full fourteen years. He was a
Golden Retriever/Black Lab mix, and because of his sweet personality typical of his breed,
I have fallen in love with the Golden Retriever.
Miriam joined us in 1985, and was a pregnant stray when we found her. She delivered
ten cute little fur balls, and became Zion's best friend and "wife". 1998
was a very difficult year for us. Miriam went to the Rainbow Bridge on May 28 with a
stomach cancer, and Zion followed her shortly after on October 24, having a recurrent oral
melanoma. We miss them both dearly, but know they will live in our hearts
forever. We love you babies!
